Bitte nehmt euch alle 6 Tage jeweils ganzen Tag Zeit. Die Akademie umfasst ein Ganztagesprogramm, das impliziert, dass alle Teilnehmenden von 12. bis 17. April vor Ort sind und die Woche gemeinsam verbringen. Die Anreise sollte am 12. vormittags erfolgen oder für alle mit weiterer Anfahrt schon am 11. April.
Location
Die Akademie findet in Hinterbrühl (bei Mödling) in Niederösterreich seminar house in Lower Austria.
Vor Ort haben wir nicht nur Seminarräume und Schlafmöglichkeiten, sondern auch großzügige Freibereiche, mit Lagerfeuerstelle, Spielen und Sportgeräten, einen nahen Bach und Wald. Außerdem werden wir direkt vor Ort bekocht.
Getting There
Die öffentliche Anreise ist per Bus (ab Mödling Bahnhof) und einem anschließenden Fußweg von ca. 20 Minuten möglich.
Wir werden ein Shuttle für jene organisieren, für die dieser Weg nicht machbar ist. Bitte kontaktiere uns in dem Fall rechtzeitig!
Die Fahrtkosten sind nicht Teil der Kursgebühr und müssen selbst bezahlt werden. Falls sie für dich gerade ein Hindernis darstellen, kontaktiere uns bitte im Vorfeld.
Accommodation and Meals
Übernachtung und veganes Essen sind im Kursbeitrag inkludiert!
Die Unterbringung findet in Mehrbettzimmern statt. Bei gesundheitlichem oder anderweitig besonderem Bedarf können in begrenztem Umfang auch Einzelzimmer organisiert werden.

Rollstühle
Der Seminar- und Essbereich ist mit Rollstühlen zugänglich. Für den Zugang zu den Zimmern (zum Schlafen) muss man einmal um das Haus herum fahren. Es ist ein rollstuhltaugliches WC vorhanden. Ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist vorhanden. Wenn du Unterstützung bezüglich physischer Barrieren braucht, kontaktiere uns bitte rechtzeitig.
People with visual impairment
Die Location ist nicht mit keinem Leitsystem ausgestattet. Wir können allerdings ein Buddy-System organisieren, sodass ein:e andere:r Teilnehmer:in dich begleitet.
People with hearing impairment
There are no fixed inductive hearing loops.

Personal assistance
Unfortunately, we cannot cover the working hours of personal assistants. However, we can cover travel and accommodation costs for them. Service animals are welcome.

Die Arbeitssprache der Akademie ist Deutsch.
Childcare
During course hours, childcare will be available. You can bring children up to the age of 10. Please make sure to let us know in advance if you plan on bringing children!
Will alcohol be consumed during the event?
On some evenings, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. One evening will also feature a party. As courses are scheduled the next day, excessive alcohol consumption is not expected.

Participation Fee
You’d like to participate in our academy and are wondering about the costs? Here’s a clear overview of our tiered participation fees, tailored to different needs and backgrounds. From activists and citizen initiatives to NGO employees, we have an option for everyone. If finances are tight right now, we also offer reduced fees and scholarships. Check out the details and find out what support is available. We don’t want finances to be a barrier to your participation!
- For unpaid activists of grassroots movements and citizen initiatives:
€ 200 – 500 (nach Selbsteinschätzung) - For employees of NGOs, trade unions and similar organizations/institutions:
€ 900 – 1200 (nach Selbsteinschätzung) - For anyone who cannot afford the participation fee at the moment::
€ 100 – 200
It is possible to pay in installements. Please contact us.
We encourage everyone to discuss with their respective organizations whether the participation fee (or part of it) can be covered by the organization.
The fee includes the courses, course materials, accommodation, and meals.
We can reimburse travel costs in some cases, though the budget for this is limited. Our goal is to ensure that finances do not pose a barrier to participating in the Akademie.
