How Do We Shift Discourses? (Fully Booked)
THIS COURSE WILL BE CONDUCTED IN GERMAN! The shift to the right has long arrived in Europe, but we don't have to accept it. There is nothing to do but to speak up: We have to contradict, raise our voices, push back—especially in the media public sphere.
But how do we manage not to leave the political discourse to the right and even shift it to the left? How do we bring our critique of the world, our demands, campaigns, and actions into the news?
Whether you want to kickstart your communication or improve your skills: This week, we'll cover everything you need to know about press and media work to get leftist messages into the media.
We discuss how to develop narratives and get your position across succinctly in front of cameras and microphones. We practice writing press releases that can no longer be ignored. You learn how to contact journalists and build your press distribution list. And we experiment with how to go viral on Instagram and TikTok.
This training is suitable for anyone who wants to counter the shift to the right and gain media reach for leftist counter-narratives.
