Alliances and networks \u2013 whether transnational or in one&#8217;s own neighborhood \u2013 have always been an important element for transformation. But how can they be established? What is needed for successful cooperations and alliances? What are the rules and structures that make an alliance work well? What are the differences between alliances and networks? What are do\u2019s and don\u2019ts? Why should we be aware of the characteristics of different types of organisations (e.g. NGOs, trade unions, grassroots groups, etc.) and how can they be used productively? What can we learn from past and existing alliances? We will be familiar with different types of approaches and will be able to adapt, plan and implement them for the respective target group.
